BOR advocates for the responsible, efficient, and environmentally optimized use of renewable ocean resources, helping assure innovators find and share best practices across the full spectrum of the emerging Blue Economy's resource development innovations. Our immediate priority is to convene a diverse team of leaders to develop informed and practical pilot studies designd to implement the world's first proofs of concepts in multifunctional ocean exploration, data collection, and sustainable resource development utilizing responsible and largely carbon neutral protocols.

International waters make up 43% of our planet's surface area and represent 95% of its existing accessible resource endowments by volume. Even the largest five countries on the planet combined make up less than 10% of earth's surface area, which is 73% covered by the world's oceans. Champions for the Responsible Utilization of Blue Ocean Resources (BOR)
- BOR is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization registered in Lakeside Montana.
- We champion the responsible development of ocean resources by working with sovereign clients and maritime mapping partners to collect, secure, share, and enable the Ocean geospatial data and resource samples.
- We share and apply relevant data with the communities of scientists, innovators, businesses, governments, and public stakeholders who are committed to realizing sustainable ocean resource harvesting.
- Working with a core group of established ocean explorers and seafloor mapping experts, our team is in the process of launching a new platform that brings together the leading interdisciplinary maritime resource experts on the planet.

- BOR advocates for the responsible, efficient, and environmentally optimized use of ocean geospatial data and maritime development, helping assure that innovators find and share relevant data and identify best practices across the full spectrum of ocean resources and their processing.
- As a tax-deductible nonprofit, we collaborate with global innovators to promote improved human understanding and responsible ecological development. We focus on targeted technical and environmental research, renewable and carbon-neutral energy and aquaculture development, rare earth and critical material resource harvesting, and offshore business operations and support services.

- We are helping to build the BOR community of the future and will serve as its main educational, professional, and targeted fundraising and promotional organization.

- Along with our partners and member organizations, we work with relevant government agencies to enable the responsible study and successful harvesting of ocean resources across the globe.

Promote Responsible and Sustainable Ocean Resource Harvesting
BOR adopts a three-tiered matrix of Ocean-focused operating protocols:
- We seek to create value across five categories of stakeholders (research academics, entrepreneurial businesses, leading corporations, government agencies, and public and third-sector organizations).
- We focus on four broadly defined industry categories: (scientific research, energy creation, resource harvesting, and support services).
- We pursue five primary operating goals (education, advocacy, empowerment, promotion, and governance).
40% of the world’s population live near coastal areas, more than 3 billion people utilize the oceans for their livelihood, and 80% of world trade is achieved using the seas. The oceans, seas and coastal areas contribute to food security and poverty eradication.
